Watch Beck Cover George Harrison's 'Wah-Wah' on 'Conan'

Beck performs on day 3 at the 2014 Firefly Music Festival on June 21, 2014 in Dover, Delaware.

It’s George Harrison Week on Conan and Beck kicked things off with a cover of the All Things Must Pass song “Wah-Wah.”

Beck’s backing band is about as tight as the main man’s leather jacket, so we’re getting a skillfully faithful cover here. It doesn’t pack as much Wall of Sound punch as the original, but what can you expect from a six-man live band? We think Beck did it justice.

George Harrison's 10 Biggest Billboard Hits

The weeklong tribute coincides with the release of the new box set, George Harrison: The Apple Years 1968-1975, which compiles the ex-Beatle’s first six solo albums (that’s eight discs) with unreleased live recordings and demos, a DVD featuring previously-unseen live footage, and a booklet featuring unpublished images and essays.

Following Beck this week on Conan, Paul Simon stops by Sept. 23, Harrison’s son Dhani visits Sept. 24, and Norah Jones guests on Sept. 25.
