In a winning entry for today's most random news: LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy is now making electronic songs for the US Open. 

Murphy partnered with IBM to turn US Open tennis match data into music on IBM Cloud, using algorithms from the match. Every match so far has a different beat, and it'll continue until the Open ends on Sept. 8th, generating over 400 hours of music.
