Interpol Streams Full 'El Pintor' Album Ahead of Release Date

Interpol is back! The dapper New York post-punks enjoyed a warm reception to the samples they’ve shared thus far from their new studio album, El Pintor, which hits stores Sept. 9 via Matador. And now it’s time to judge the whole thing -- the album is now streaming on NPR’s First Listen.

Billboard will be back with a track-by-track review of the new LP soon enough. In the meantime, check out our coverage of Interpol’s performances out at Governors Ball and Lollapalooza this summer. And if you’re one of the lucky few who snagged tickets to see them play a 2,000-year-old temple at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art on Sept. 2, you’re surely counting down the days until Tuesday.
