You didn't expect Stephen Colbert to not acknowledge Gwen Stefani's Emmys flub, right?

Let's back up: During Monday's Emmys, while reading the winner for Best Variety Series, Stefani mispronounced The Colbert Report, saying it like "Colbore."

Stefani, for her part, seemed to acknowledge her gaffe when she was on Chelsea Handler's show Tuesday night -- but Colbert's staff couldn't let the moment pass by, either.

While the show from Tuesday night was pre-taped, there was more than enough time to tinker with the opening credits, which now feature the word "Colbore" among the regular patriotic words that make up the credits of The Colbert Report.

You can watch the whole episode on Colbert's site; the opening credits joke happens at 2:33.
