Puppies!

Happy National Dog Day! Sure, this is a totally made-up holiday, but any excuse to look at cute puppy pictures is fine by us.

Or, better yet, you could look at cute puppy videos. Below, we list the six best music videos that include dogs. There are a surprising number of videos that feature Man's Best Friend, but we picked these half-dozen because of the sheer cuteness of the dogs involved or the creativity in the way the dogs are deployed.

(Editor's note: We refuse to include Baha Men's "Who Let the Dogs Out" on this list.)

OK Go, "White Knuckles"
At this point, OK Go are better known for their videos than their music, and you'll see why below. This is a complicated one-take clip, and their canine co-stars don't miss a beat.

Swedish House Mafia, "Save the World"
In the chorus, now-defunct DJ trio Swedish House Mafia ask, "Who's gonna save the world tonight?" The answer: an adorable dog gang.

Mayer Hawthorne, "Her Favorite Song"
If you came here for a band made up entirely of dogs, Mayer Hawthorne has the video for you.

Fall Out Boy, "The Take Over, The Breaks Over"
The dogs in this Fall Out Boy video aren't afraid of mailman dance-offs, dancers dressed as cats or Pete Wentz's 2007 hair.

Snoop Dogg, "Who Am I (What's My Name)"
All you need to know about this video is that Snoop Dogg morphs into a Doberman. That required a serious graphics budget in 1993.

Weezer, "Island in the Sun"
There are a lot of animals in this Weezer video, but fast-forward to 2:02 for the first of our favorite scenes, when golden retriever puppies play with monkeys. Yes, puppies and monkeys.
