The drummer announced the cancellations -- of Thursday's show in Holmdel, N.J., and Friday's show in Pittsburgh -- on Twitter.

The band originally canceled two weeks of shows following the accident, which happened on Aug. 9 when a pedestrian jumped out in front of the bus and it had to stop short. Followill suffered broken ribs in the crash. The Roots' Questlove sat in with the band on drums during a Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon appearance on Aug. 12.

The next dates on the Mechanical Bull Tour are Saturday and Sunday at Philadelphia's Made in America Festival.
