The couple started dating in 2010, after Mellencamp divorced his wife of 18 years. Ryan had divorced her then-husband, fellow actor Dennis Quaid, in 2001 amid reports of an affair with Proof of Life co-star Russell Crowe. Ryan and Mellencamp were last spotted together in May.

Last month, Mellencamp released John Mellencamp Performs Trouble No More Live At Town Hall, a live album recorded in 2003. It's a mix of songs from his Trouble No More album from that year and stripped-down versions of his biggest hits, like "Pink Houses" and "Small Town." In May, he signed a "lifetime" recording contract with Republic Records and announced his 22nd full-length album, Plain Spoken, due Sept. 23.
