Blake Shelton performs at LP Field on Friday, June 6 during the 2014 CMA Music Festival in downtown Nashville.

Taylor Swift wasn't the only country(-ish) artist debuting new music Monday.

Blake Shelton dropped the lead single, "Neon Light," off his upcoming eleventh studio album, Bringing Back The Sunshine. The laid-back tune deals with the glimmer of hope in the distance following a bad break-up. Let's hope the tune isn't autobiographical, Shelton!

"There's a neon light at the end of the tunnel/It ain't all that bright, but even though it's subtle/It's got me feeling alright, go on and make it a double/There's a neon light at the end of the tunnel," Shelton croons.

The singer may be a country superstar, but he wasn't above a little social media promotion for his latest release. "Hey @adamlevine ... Brag about my new single #neonlight," Shelton tweeted to his fellow Voice judge. The Voice star's last album, Based on a True Story…, recently returned to No. 1 on Top Country Albums, largely thanks to its $5.99 sale pricing at iTunes during the tracking week ending July 20.

Bringing Back The Sunshine will be released Sept. 30.
