April 8: Slash, Tom Hamilton, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry perform onstage during Aerosmith's summer "Let Rock Rule" tour launch at Whisky a Go Go in West Hollywood, California.

Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer is back and ready to rock again. Kramer will take the stage tonight with his Aerosmith bandmates after a health scare earlier this week

On Wednesday (August 13) he reportedly had to "undergo a minor medical procedure." At the time it was reported he had to undergo heart surgery. That same day the band canceled a show at Concord, California's Concord Pavilion, but will resume their trek Saturday (August 16) at the Gorge in George, WA.

"I'm feeling better than ever and I'll be back sitting in the best seat in the house, hitting it harder than ever for our amazing fans," Kramer said in a statement, which added that he "has no history of a heart condition." "My gratitude and thanks for all the love and support showered on me during this time."

Kramer added, "Feelin good feelin groovy feelin great !!! Nothin keeps the Kramedog down #LetRockRule."

There are 10 more dates slated on the band's Let Rock Rule tour, which wraps up on September 12 in Canada.
