Gray Gets Back In 'Motion' With New Album

Singer/songwriter David Gray will release his next studio album, "Life in Slow Motion," Sept. 13 via ATO/RCA.

As tipped here last month, singer/songwriter David Gray will release his next studio album, "Life in Slow Motion," Sept. 13 via ATO/RCA. First single "The One I Love" is expected to hit U.S. radio outlets late this month. Gray will preview the new material during a 10-date August tour, beginning Aug. 1 in Toronto.

"Life in Slow Motion" is the follow-up to 2002's "A New Day at Midnight," which debuted at No. 17 on The Billboard 200 and has sold more than 570,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It spawned the single "Be Mine," which reached No. 31 on Billboard's Adult Top 40 chart.
