Chris Pratt visits SiriusXM Studios on July 30, 2014 in New York City.

Please welcome a guardian of great ideas

He's a TV star, a movie star, and now, apparently, a rap star -- is there anything Chris Pratt can't do?

The actor stopped by DJ Whoo Kid's The Whoolywood Shuffle radio show this week to talk up Guardians of the Galaxy, but he couldn't resist showing off another skill. When the hosts asked Pratt about his musical background, Pratt explained that his life circa 2001 was spent living in a van in Maui with his friends, smoking pot and listening to Dr. Dre. In fact, Pratt shared he could recite any line -- then proceeded to prove it by rapping the Slim Shady part from "Forgot About Dre."

Why a '70s Mixtape Propels the Plot of 'Guardians of the Galaxy'

Important takeaways: 1) Pratt certainly wasn't joking around; his performance keeps going and going to the hosts' stunned delight. 2) Pratt also weighs in on the important Justin Bieber/Orlando Bloom scuffle with this accurate summary: "How embarrassing to get punched by Orlando Bloom! ...I would rather get farted on by David Hasselhoff than punched [by Orlando Bloom]." 3) Turns out Pratt's real-life early twenties wasn't altogether different than Che or Andy Dwyer's.
