Chris Brown Sets Final Release Date for 'X' Album
Better 14 months late than never?
After more than a year of delays, Chris Brown announced his sixth album X will drop Sept. 16. Breezy's been dropping X singles since 2013, including the Lil Wayne collabo "Loyal" and the most recent single, "New Flame," featuring Usher and Rick Ross.
Brown teased a duet with Ariana Grande called "Don't Be Gone Too Long" back in April, but the full track has yet to come out -- and given Grande's chart heat, he shouldn't sit on it much longer.
Brown's X isn't the only record with that title to drop in 2014. In the time between X's first release date and this new one, Ed Sheeran announced and released an album called x. Although in his case, the album title is pronounced Multiply, as in, you know, math.
