TV on the Radio Announces New Album 'Seeds' With Trippy Video

TV on the Radio has been hinting at it for a while, but the news is finally here. The auditory magicians have a new album coming out on Harvest, their new, post-Interscope label home.

Seeds will drop this fall, though no specific date has been shared. The New York-based critical darlings teased the release today with a brief video on their website, which features animated, cotton candy-like goo and bursts of synthesizer that sound like they could have been lifted from an M83 record. But this is TV on the Radio, so you know the album probably won't sound like much else out there.

This will be the first full length from TVOTR since 2011's Nine Types of Light, released just before the sudden passing of bassist Gerard Smith. However, this isn't the first new TV on the Radio music since then, as the band dropped new songs "Million Miles" and "Mercy" last year on multi-instrumentalist Dave Sitek's label, Federal Prism.
