Austin Mahone Covers George Strait & Fifth Harmony Debuts New Song at Tour Launch: Watch
It’s not everyday that you get to see pop star Austin Mahone sporting a cowboy hat. But that’s exactly what the Mahomies got during the singer’s North American tour opener at San Antonio’s Freeman Coliseum on Friday night (July 25).
In addition to winning over his hometown crowd with such tunes as “What About Love,” “MMM Yeah” and “U,” the 18-year-old heartthrob paid tribute to country icon George Strait by playing a cover of his 1995 hit “Check Yes Or No.” Watch Mahone perform the song acoustically while wearing a black cowboy hat and ripped jeans in the video below.
Meanwhile, Fifth Harmony, who recently stopped by the Billboard studios to perform their ultra-catchy new single "Bo$$,” treated the San Antonio crowd to some new music from the group’s as-yet untitled debut album, due out this fall on Epic Records. Check out Fifth Harmony debuting their seductive new song “Reflection” in the video below.
Mahone’s North American tour with Fifth Harmony, Vine superstar Shawn Mendes and the Vamps runs through mid-September.
