Snoop Dogg Claims He Smoked Up in the White House

Truly the highest office in the land

At this point in Snoop Dogg's life, it's safe to say there isn't much he hasn't done. In fact, it's starting to seem like the Doggfather has done everything imaginable.

Record a reggae album? Check. Make a song with Psy? Done. Rap about Santa Claus? He did that years ago. Smoke weed in the White House? Yep, even that.

If we're to believe Snoop in the latest episode of his web series "GGN" featuring Jimmy Kimmel, he tricked "the CIA or the FBI… the Alphabet Boys" into letting him light up inside 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

"Not in the White House, but in the bathroom," Snoop told Kimmel. "'Cause I said, 'May I use the bathroom for a second?' And they said, 'What are you going to do? Number one or number two?' I said, 'Number two.'"

At that point, Snoop convinced them he needed some fire inside the president's house. "I said, 'Look, when I do the number two, I usually have a cigarette or I light something to get the aroma right. And they said, 'Well you know what? You can light a piece of napkin.' And I said, 'I'll do that.' And the napkin was this," Snoop explained, making mmmm noises as he puffed away.

Now keep in mind this was clearly staged. Kimmel asks him, "Have you ever smoked at the White House?" which is not a typical interview question even for Snoop (plus, a toy plane in the background holds a banner reading "Smoke Exec Branch").

Even so, that doesn't mean he's lying. And he does give a lot of weirdly specific details. Perhaps it doesn't matter either way — sometimes the legend is better than the truth.
