Right on time, Ariana Grande has shared "Break Free," the second single off her forthcoming record "My Everything," ahead of her performance of the song later this summer at the MTV Video Music Awards. The song, which was produced by Zedd and finds Grande celebrating her independence from a past love, sits right at the crossroads of her pop past -- including "My Everything"'s first single "Problem," which features Iggy Azalea -- and her potential EDM future: in a conversation with Billboard earlier this year, she called the experience of working with the "Clarity" chart-topper "fantastic and super-experimental."

"I never thought I'd do an EDM song," she said of the collaboration, "but that was an eye-opening experience, and now all I want to do is dance." Listen to the joy-infused song below, and just try to say Grande doesn't sound more than a little liberated.
