Scars on 45 Song Premiere: Listen To New Single 'Crazy For You'

This fall, British alt-pop collective Scars on 45 will release their sophomore album, "Safety In Numbers," through new label Nettwerk. Lead single "Crazy For You" is set to be released digitally on July 15, but you can hear the song in full now, exclusively on

Scars on 45 earned praise for their 2012 self-titled debut, but according to singer-guitarist Danny Bemrose, "Safety In Numbers" is the product of the band's growth as a live unit. "To be honest, our first album was much more of a studio project, as we didn't play live until we came to the U.S.," says Bemrose. "After touring relentlessly for the last 3 years we wanted to do things differently and try make an album which was more natural and organic. The majority of the work was done in Minneapolis with our good friend Eric Olsen. It was a wonderful atmosphere to record in and he made it possible for us to concentrate on being a band rather than doing everything completely DIY as we did on our first album."

"Crazy For You," adds Bemrose, was "inspired by two very close friends. It's a song about falling for someone and not having the confidence to do anything about it, before discovering the object of your affection feels exactly the same."
