Kanye West seems to be feeling a lot better after a complicated Bonnaroo set and burying the hatchet with his wedding photographer: the rapper surprised fans at Dave Chappelle's show last night (Friday) at Radio City Music Hall, where the comedian is performing a nine-date run. Complex reports that Yeezy, a longtime friend of Chappelle who also played his now-infamous Block Party a decade ago, played three songs—"New Slaves," "Gold Digger," and "Jesus Walks"—and ended up jumping off the stage and roaming the auditorium aisles during the show.

The set came ahead of the scheduled musical component of Chappelle's highly anticipated (and wildly successful) run, which starts Monday (June 23) and will feature individual performances from Nas, Janelle Monáe, the Roots, and Erykah Badu. Kanye is headed to Sweden later this month; Rick Rubin reports that a seventh album is already in the works. Check out his "New Slaves" performance below, then compare it to his "Jesus Walks" performance at the 2004 Block Party, seven months after releasing his debut album "The College Dropout."
