Wilco's Jeff Tweedy recently announced plans for a new solo album and tour apart from his long-running indie rock act. Today, the singer-songwriter flashed out plans for his upcoming project, which is going to be a Tweedy family affair.
On Sept. 16, Tweedy will release his debut solo album, a 20-song set titled "Sukierae" (pronounced, "sue-key-ray") featuring his 18-year old son Spencer on drums. The album, officially billed under the band name TWEEDY, will arrive via dBpm Records. Check out a new song titled "I'll Sing It," featuring backing vocals by Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig of Lucius.
