After delivering a poignant statement on his Facebook last week, Mick Jagger and his family said goodbye today to girlfriend L'Wren Scott, who was laid to rest in Hollywood.

According to CNN, Jagger, joined by his daughters and grandchildren, spoke briefly at the funeral, as did the designer's brother, talent agent and more.

While Jagger and others contributed "words of tribute" at the ceremony, the rocker's daughter Karis read a poem, while his daughter Jade and grandchildren Zak and Mazie read excerpts from the book of Psalms in the Bible.

Meanwhile, longtime Rolling Stones backup singer Bernard Fowler performed "Will the Circle Be Unbroken," with Dave Stewart contributing guitar to the song.

Scott was found dead last week in her New York apartment. A medical examiner later concluded that her death was by hanging.

The 49-year-old designer, who designed costumes for multiple big-name films and whose clients in the fashion world included Madonna, had been dating the Rolling Stones frontman for over a decade.
