Kurt Cobain, Elvis Presley, More Chill on Remote Island in Beer Ad: Watch

Did Elvis, Cobain, Lennon or Tupac really die? Apparently not; they just holed up on a deserted island with two goals in mind: drink a lot of beer and don't get caught doing so.

At least, that's the narrative in a new commercial for Bavaria Brewery's Bavaria Radler beer. In the minute-long clip, Kurt Cobain, Elvis Presley and more musicians who died young party and relax on a remote island, drinking the lemon-esque beverage.

Suddenly, a ship appears on the horizon, leading the island's denizens to close up shop to avoid detection. Still, the ship's captain believes he's able to spot Elvis, whose potbelly is sticking out from behind a tree.

Marilyn Monroe, Tupac Shakur, John Lennon and Bruce Lee -- or, actors portraying them -- also make appearances in the ad.

The commercial has received nearly 70,000 views on YouTube since its release yesterday (March 24). Surprisingly, much of the feedback on the video's YouTube page is positive, though many viewers point out how dissimilar to the figures they're supposed to portray many of the actors are.
