Bob Casale, guitarist of Devo, died of heart failure last month, leaving in his wake no will or insurance.

As a result, a fund has been created by band webmaster Michael Pilmer to help Casale's family with expenses relating to his death.

"These expenses are not limited to funeral expenses, but also include recent medical/hospital bills, and for the general family expenses in the absence of Bob," Pilmer wrote. "This has hit the Casales hard. We are doing everything we can as friends of the family to soften the impact of Bob's untimely death."

According to Rolling Stone, the GoFundMe page currently has a goal of raising $100,000 for Casale's family. Thus far, over $14,000 has been donated by over 200 contributors.

Casale died Feb. 17. He was 61. He was preceded in death by former Devo drummer Alan Myers last year after a battle with cancer.
