Rapper Shawnna's second solo album, "Block Music," is slated for a June release on Distrubing Tha Peace/Island Def Jam. First single, "Candy Coated" will feature Academy Award-winning rap act Three 6 Mafia. Other tracks set for inclusion are "Donkey" featuring Field Mob's Smoke or "Take It Slow" featuring DTP head Ludacris and crooner Bobby Valentino.

Shawnna is presently enjoying a sleepr hit with "Gettin' Some," which is hidden within the compilation "Ludacris Presents ... Disturbing Tha Peace." The track features the chorus from Too Short's 1993 track "Bl**job Betty."

"My manager John Monopoly called me at 2 a.m. like we got a hit," Shawnna tells Billboard. "But even Ludacris said there's no way we could go to radio with the song because of the content. But in good faith I laid it, John took it to radio and it's been playing since then. And that was in October 2005."

The label plans to issue a few remixes for "Gettin' Some," and Shawnna has already received verses from Busta Rhymes, Rick Ross, Twista, UGK's Pimp C and Too Short himself. A release date for the tracks has yet to be announced.
