This particular performance of "Million" was recorded at Stone's Chewelah cabin, the easygoing track fitting snugly within its warm wooden walls.
The song features Stone on lead vocals and electric guitar, while Swedish musician Magnus Tingsek, who is working with Stone on his debut major label release, performs backing vocals and percussion.
"This new record is a brighter, sleeker color of soul music that portrays the last three years of my experience," Stone says. "Where I've been, what I've learned, what I've lost, and where I'm going. It's the measurement of my soul and my sound at this current place in my life."
The 26-year-old singer-songwriter precedes his upcoming Capitol release with two self-released records. "Last to Speak" came in 2010, while a self-titled sophomore effort dropped the following year, before being re-released by ATO Records. The latter hit No. 9 on the Heatseekers Albums chart.
