Yesterday (Jan. 3) Ke$ha reportedly admitted herself to a rehab center for an apparent eating disorder. The pop star who released her self-directed “Dirty Love” video on New Year’s Day entered a Chicago-area center and plans to stay there for a month.

“I’m a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself but I’ve found it hard to practice,” she says in a press statement. “I’ll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder…to learn to love myself again. Exactly as I am.”

Ke$ha’s website shows that her next concert isn't until Feb. 13 in Dubai, meaning she likely won’t miss any major gigs due to the surprising move. Along with recently releasing her video Jan. 1, Ke$ha’s also featured on rapper Pitbull’s “Timber,” which rests at No. 2 on the Hot 100.
