Evanescence Unveils Fall Tour Plans

Evanescence will begin a fall North American tour Oct. 5 in Toronto, two days after the release of its new Wind-Up album, "The Open Door."

Evanescence will begin a fall North American tour Oct. 5 in Toronto, two days after the release of its new Wind-Up album, "The Open Door." The itinerary also includes an Oct. 19 performance at the MTV Video Music Awards Latin in Mexico City. A European leg of shows will follow in November.

Tickets for the North American gigs go on sale Aug. 19. The group is planning to return to the region to play larger venues in 2007.

"The Open Door" is led by the single "Call Me When You're Sober," which debuts this week at No. 21 on Billboard's Modern Rock Chart.
