Miley vs. Katy: Whose 'SNL' Performance Are You Most Looking Forward To?

Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus arrives on the red carpet of the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards at Paramount Pictures Studios on September 7, 2008 in Los Angeles, California.

Beginning with last weekend's season premiere, "Saturday Night Live" season is now in full gear. The premiere, hosted by Tina Fey, saw Arcade Fire play two songs off the band's upcoming "Reflektor" release, transitioning into the act's 30-minute "Here Comes the Night Time" special that introduced three additional new songs.

This weekend, the first of two pop divas take the "SNL" stage. Miley Cyrus will do double duty as the host and musical guest during this weekend's show, while Katy Perry returns to "SNL" as the musical guest for next week's Bruce Willis episode.

Neither are strangers to 30 Rock. Both hosted the show in 2011, Cyrus did her best Justin Bieber impersonation opposite Vanessa Bayer's portrayal of the pop star herself during her bout on the show, while Perry did a fairly amusing Florence Welch impression during a sketch promoting a dog film soundtrack.

But that was then... and this is now.

A lot has changed for Miley since her last appearance on the show. She's bared all -- literally and figuratively -- in a series of provocative videos, photoshoots and interviews, topped the Hot 100 with "Wrecking Ball" and released her newest album, "Bangerz," earlier this week.

Meanwhile, Katy has seen some changes of her own. She's no longer married to Russell Brand and is now dating John Mayer. Her first new single, "Roar," topped the Hot 100 after its release and "Prism," her fourth studio album, drops Oct. 18.

There's a lot to be excited about for both performers' appearances on "SNL," so much so that we can't decide who we're most excited for. Let us know who you're looking forward to the most in our poll and be sure to tune in this Saturday and next!
