All proceeds to benefit WhyHunger's global anti-hunger campaign
A new interactive album app called "John Lennon: The Bermuda Tapes" will launch Nov. 5, exclusively through the iTunes App Store. Directed by filmmaker Michael Epstein, the app chronicles the legendary singer-songwriter's 1980 sojourn to Bermuda and collaborative works with Yoko Ono.
All revenue from the app will go towards WhyHunger's "Imagine There's No Hunger" campaign. In partnership with Yoko Ono and Hard Rock International, the program has helped communities grow enough food to provide over 7.2 million meals to needy children in 22 countries.
Additionally, the Hard Rock Cafe will be partnering with the app to sell t-shirts, scarves, bracelets, and other merchandise at restaurant, hotel, and casino locations.
