O.A.R.

I would like to take this opportunity to ask anyone who knows a man by the name of Las Vegas for my $700 back. He took it from me a few days ago and is extremely reluctant to return it. Grrrr Las Vega

So I guess I should begin by saying that this tour journal is being turned in late cause of "life on the road"... I was supposed to do this yesterday but I forgot cause there was other stuff going on. Sometimes that happens out here.

Now, we are in Sioux City, Iowa and having just got a call from our management asking for this thing for Billboard I'm creating the most beautiful and eloquent piece of tour journaling ever written.

Let's see, I figure I should talk about what’s actually going on... We're on a short run right now, doing some college shows and theatres before we wrap up the fall. Shows have been real fun this time around. We're trying out some new material here and there and the crowds have been reacting pretty well. Some of the songs are accessible through some fan-based mediums if you want to grab them. The song I like best that we just played live for the first time is called "Dinner Last Night." It's exciting for us to be bringing some new things into the mix for the first time.

This winter we're gonna take some time off finally. Weird to think we’re actually gonna have a sort of "off-season" from touring, but really we need it. We've been on the road pretty much the whole time since we left college at The Ohio State University in 2001.

Hmm, not sure what else to say. I need a shower, a working computer (so I don’t have to use Jerry's) and I think I need to shave, but I figure one more day won't hurt.

This message is not for Tony The Tiger, though if he’s listening, I want him to know I respect his mantra.

Last little thing for this email... our bus generator sounds like someone with asthma who is wheezing. As well sometimes the Star Trek doors inside it don't open and you get stuck in certain bus compartments.

Life on the road is fun.

And that's a wrap.
