Posthumous Levert Album Due In February

The album Gerald Levert completed just before his sudden death from a heart attack on Nov. 10, "In My Songs," will be released Feb. 13 via Atlantic.

The album Gerald Levert completed just before his sudden death from a heart attack on Nov. 10, "In My Songs," will be released Feb. 13 via Atlantic. The 11-track set is the follow-up to 2004's "Do I Speak for the World?," which has sold 250,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Levert and his father Eddie had recently toured South Africa and co-written a book, "I Got Your Back," that was to be a tie-in to a new, same-titled Levert album due in February. The late singer is also featured on Styles P's just-released CD, "Time Is Money."
