Watch New Year's Eve Performances

The Biebs was a busy boy this holiday weekend, dueting "Let It Be" with Carlos Santana on "Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve" and dropping a new track featuring Jaden Smith. Listen below.

On Dec. 31, Bieber posted a link to the downtempo R&B track, "Happy New Year," on his Twitter account. Smith's rhymes jump-start the song before Bieber's new deeper voice kicks in, sounding a bit like another pop mega-star by the name of Justin.

In the track's vocal breakdown, Bieber looks ahead to the new year, full of hope: "2012 is the year to be better, stronger and closer to the people around you. So grab someone special, and just, you know."

Bieber has a lot to look forward to in 2012, most notably, the release of his third album, "Believe."

Will 2012 be an even bigger year for the Biebs? Sound off in the comments.
