Folk-rock stars Mumford & Sons have revealed that the follow-up to their debut, "Sigh No More," has been completed. The question now is not when fans will hear it, but if they'll hear it at all.

"We're done recording it," keyboardist Ben Lovett told NME. "But if we listen back while we're mixing and discover it's shit, we'll just start again. We're not going to put it out until it's good enough."

Since its 2009 release, "Sigh No More" has sold 2.2 million copies according to Nielsen SoundScan, and Mumford & Sons racked up Grammy nominations for Best New Artist, Record of the Year and Song of the Year, the latter two coming for "The Cave." At this year's Grammys in February, Marcus Mumford told Billboard that the sophomore album would hit stores "hopefully this year."

After dominating the U.S. festival circuit in 2011, Mumford & Sons have lined up a handful of U.K. dates this summer. Next up is a performance at the Pinkpop Festival in Landgraaf on May 28.

And in the group's downtime, Marcus Mumford tied the knot with actress Carey Mulligan, in a small ceremony last month.
