The last Backstreet Boy is back.

With Kevin Richardson rejoining the band following his 2006 departure, the reunited group will return with a Central Park show on Aug. 31 that will air on ABC's "Good Morning America."

"The vibe is fantastic," member Nick Carter told the show. "It's revitalized and we're having so much fun."

The Backstreet Boys are also at work on a follow-up to 2009's "This Is Us," which will include Richardson. The album is due in spring 2013, to help celebrate the veteran act's 20-year-anniversary. The new set will be the group's eight studio album. The band's currently working with producer Martin Terefe (Mary J. Blige, Javier Colon) in a London studio.
