Bruce Springsteen's 'Wrecking Ball' Tour to Do More Damage
Have you heard? Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have a knack for playing live. The legendary Jersey boys (and girl), currently wrapping an epic 11-week trip through Europe, where they've melted the faces off fans and reviewers with some of their longest sets ever, have announced they'll extend the tour once they're back in North America.
The band will play sixteen additional dates in the U.S. and Canada for the "Wrecking Ball" World Tour, beginning Oct. 19 in Ottawa, Ont. and running all the way through Dec. 6 in Glendale, Ariz. Their first show in November will be in State College, Pa. at Bryce Jordan Center on the Penn State campus.
Previously announced North American dates for this late-summer/fall swing include two-night stands at Boston's Fenway Park (Aug. 14-15) and Chicago's Wrigley Field (Sept. 7-8), with three nights set for MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ (Sept. 19, 21, 22).
"Wrecking Ball," Springsteen's 17th album, was released March 5 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
