U2 Concert Bumps Marlins-Mariners Baseball Series

An upcoming three-game baseball series between the Florida Marlins and the Seattle Mariners has been relocated to Seattle due to a scheduling conflict with a U2 concert at Miami's Sun Life Stadium. The rock band is scheduled to play Miami on June 29, and while the last game of the series is set for June 26, the band's massive stage-structure known as "The Claw" requires a few days to setup. "The best and only solution was to play the games in Seattle," said Marlins president Davis Damson. (ESPN)

Coachella Sells Out in a Week

The 2011 Coachella Music and Arts Festival has sold out, a week after the lineup was announced and tickets went on sale. Organizers of the event, which takes place April 15-17 in Indio, Calif. and features headliners Kanye West, Kings of Leon and Arcade Fire, posted a notice on the Coachella website that "festival passes are no longer available."

No Doubt Bassist Tony Kanal Welcomes Baby Daughter

No Doubt's Tony Kanal and girlfriend Erin Lokitz welcomed their first child, Coco Reese Lakshmi Kanal, on Monday (Jan. 24). Kanal, who previously dated band mate Gwen Stefani, posted the happy news on the band's web site. The group is currently sketching out a new album that they hope to release this year. ( PopEater)

Boy George Promises Culture Club Reunion

Boy George announced that he's getting the band back together, as Culture Club will reunite in 2012 with a new album and what Boy George called a "huge world tour." Boy George's newest solo album, "Ordinary Alien," will be released on Tuesday (Jan. 31). (BBC)

Fabolous Dropping Soulful Mixtape

Fabolous will follow the success of his 2010 mixtape "There Is No Competition 2" with the "The S.O.U.L. Tape," which will be released next month. On this new mixtape, he will be rapping over soul sample beats without any DJ drops, a move he compares to recent mixtape experiments by Lil Wayne and Drake. ( Rap Radar)

Arrest Warrant Issued for 'Idol' Contestant Eze

An arrest warrant has been sent out for former "American Idol" contestant Chikezie Eze, after the 25-year-old failed to appear at a Jan. 14 court hearing. The tenth place finalist on "Idol's" seventh season has been on probation for allegedly purchasing cologne with a phony credit card last year. ( TMZ)

Cass McCombs Announces New Album, 'Wit's End'

Songwriter Cass McCombs has announced the release of "Wit's End," the follow-up to his 2009 album "Catacombs." The eight-track LP was recorded in various U.S. cities and was co-produced with Foreign Born's Ariel Rechtenshaid. "Wit's End" will be released on April 12 in the U.S. on Domino Records, while McCombs will perform at SXSW in March before embarking on a national summer tour.
