Nick Oliveri, the former bassist of Queens of the Stone Age, was arrested for suspicion of domestic violence in Hollywood on Tuesday night (July 12) after a five-hour standoff with police, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Police reportedly arrived at the 39-year-old rocker's home after receiving a domestic violence call at around 5:00 pm PST, and after learning that Oliveri's girlfriend was being held inside, SWAT team members surrounded the house. Oliveri's girlfriend was released at about 8:30 pm unharmed, and Oliveri was arrested two hours later.
