OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder To Open Ten BBQ Franchises
OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder has signed a deal with Southern Hospitality BBQ to be the first franchise owner of the NYC-based bar and restaurant. The singer plans to open ten locations in Denver, Nashville, Dallas, Austin, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Phoenix, Palo Alto and Washington, D.C. "I have been involved with Southern Hospitality BBQ in New York for some time, and I'm looking forward to taking this relationship to the next level," Tedder said in a statement. (Rolling Stone)

Bon Iver & James Blake Collaboration Surfaces
Listen Last Wednesday, "chillwave bro" James Blake tweeted that he and Justin Vernon of Bon Iver would be releasing a collaboration called "Fall Creek Boys Choir" on August 24 -- whatever that meant. Today, the track appeared on Blake's YouTube channel. For fans of both Blake and Vernon, the Autotune-heavy track is a doggone good time (pun intended). As one commenter put it, "Not quite sure what to do with myself right now." Listen below.

Sunset Junction Music Festival Canceled
It seems to be the final nail in the coffin for Los Angeles' popular Sunset Junction Music Festival & Street Fair. On Wednesday, the Los Angeles Board of Public Works denied - for the second time - the permit for Sunset Junction Festival, which was set to take place this weekend. This will be the first time the concert has been cancelled in its 31-year history. This year's music festival was slated to have six stages and over 100 acts, including DJ sets by Peaches and Lil Jon and headlining performances by Butthole Surfers, Butch Walker, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Bobby Womack and Hanson.
