The Weeknd Remixes Florence + the Machine's 'Shake It Out': Listen

The Weeknd lends his signature moody soundscapes to the remix of Florence + the Machine's second single, "Shake It Out," off their sophomore album, "Ceremonials" (Oct. 31).

Close to two weeks after Florence + the Machine announced The Weeknd's remix via their official website, Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show debuts the anticipated track. "Shake It Out" will be available on iTunes Oct. 2.

Florence Welch is also working with another Toronto act, The Weeknd's bud, Drake. In January, Drake told BBC that he was working with Welch for her upcoming album. "We listened to all her new music and I picked which song I really wanted to get on," Drake said.

On Friday (Sept. 23), Drake gave fans a treat himself when posting the album cover for "Take Care" on his site, "October's Very Own."

"Feels like it's been so long. Is life moving so fast in this generation that when we desire something it begins to move in slow motion? Are we just used to getting what we want right away? Or do we require one another to feel right about all that is going on around us? Maybe our anticipation is justified by the fact that we genuinely cannot wait to share a moment again? Either way, your life and mine are scheduled to meet on October 24... I wouldn't miss it for the world.

See you soon.
