Justin Bieber, Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson Join American Music Awards Lineup
Justin Bieber, Kelly Clarkson, Mary J. Blige and "Moves Like Jagger" creators Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera have been added to the lineup of performers at the 2011 American Music Awards, it was revealed in an announcement on Monday (Oct. 24).
The new set of artists joins previously announced performers Katy Perry and Pitbull. The ceremony will be held Nov. 20 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
Bieber, Clarkson and Blige all have new albums to support: Bieber's first holiday album, "Under The Mistletoe," arrives Nov. 1, Clarkson's fifth album, "Stronger," is out on Tuesday, and Blige's "My Life II… The Journey Continues (Act 1)" is currently slated for a Nov. 21 release. Meanwhile, Maroon 5 and Aguilera's "Moves Like Jagger" clocked four weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 earlier this year, and currently sits at No. 2 on the tally.
Adele leads the 39th annual American Music Awards nominations with four nominations, and will compete against Lil Wayne, Perry, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga for artist of the year.
