Beyonce Launches $250,000 Dance Contest

After singing and dancing with host Hugh Jackman at the Oscars yesterday (Feb. 22), Beyonce is asking her fans to show off their moves. The singer has announced a "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" dance video contest which invites fans to create a video of their own dance routine for the song, which reached No 1. on the Hot 100. The winner will receive $250,000 and have their video shown during Beyonce's 2009 "I Am…" world tour.

The "Single Ladies" dance video contest. is open to residents of the United States, UK, Japan, and a few other territories who are 18 or older. Submissions are due by March 6, 2009. Visit for more information.

Kelly Rowland To Co-Host Bravo Reality Show

In her first gig since parting ways with manager Mathew Knowles earlier this year, R&B singer Kelly Rowland, along with fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi and fashionista Fern Mallis, will co-host Bravo's new reality series, "The Fashion Show."

The series follows professional clothing designers as they compete in challenges that will be judged by professionals in the fashion world as well as by the studio audience. The winner will have his or her designs sold by a major retail outlet.

"The Fashion Show" will air on Bravo later this year.

Def Jam Celebrates 25th Anniversary With Four-LP Retrospective

To celebrate Def Jam's 25th anniversary, Island Def Jam Music Group will release "Def Jam 25." The limited-edition four-LP deluxe set -- due on Record Store Day, April 18 -- features classics and newer hits from R&B and hip-hop stars including LL Cool J, Slick Rick, Rihanna, Kanye West, Jay-Z and Young Jeezy.
