It's almost been a full year since Passion Pit's "Gossamer" was released (July 24 marks its one-year anniversary, if you're planning a party), and the indie-pop group will complete a sweeping North American tour this fall in support of the sophomore album. The Joy Formadible will serve as support for most of newly unveiled dates.
The tour will include two shows in September at New York's Pier 26, with discounted tickets available to fans who couldn't make it to Passion Pit's Madison Square Garden show last February due to a blizzard that evening. Proceeds for the special tickets will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Tickets for the fall trek go on sale beginning this Friday (July 19). Passion Pit has spent the past few months on the summer festival circuit, making stops at Lollalpalooza Chile, Coachella and Bonnaroo.
Earlier this month, Passion Pit filmed a video for Vevo's "Unexpected Covers" series, with frontman Michael Angelakos tackling fun.'s "Carry On" on piano. Check it out below:
