Firefly Festival: Ben Harper and Schoolboy Q In, Lumineers and Earl Sweatshirt Out
The two acts have pulled out of this weekend's Delaware festival due to "medical conditions."
Ben Harper and Schoolboy Q will sub in for a pair of exiting acts at Delaware's Firefly Music Festival this weekend.
The Lumineers and Earl Sweatshirt have both cancelled due to "medical conditions," the fest announced on its Facebook page. Sweatshirt recently pulled out of Bonnaroo due to pneumonia.
"To everyone who think im being overdramatic, go get pneumonia and then try singing 'whoa' all the way through with no hypeman," he tweeted last week.
Firefly has plenty of acts left, with Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Vampire Weekend and many more still set to perform at the three-day event, which begins on Friday at the Woodlands at Dover International Speedway. Among them, Passion Pit will finally take the stage after a medical emergency of their own in 2012, which caused them to cancel Firefly and several other dates last July.
