The rocker's North American tour is on pause while he receives medical treatment.

Morrissey has scratched two more dates from his North American tour due to his medical care.

The rocker will reschedule Feb. 9 and 10 dates in Las Vegas and Phoenix, respectively, making for a total of 12 dates postponed or canceled in recent weeks.

"Morrissey is currently undergoing treatment for a bleeding ulcer and Barrett's esophagus," his rep told Billboard, with rescheduled dates to be announced "within the coming days.

"Morrissey thanks everyone concerned for their well wishes during this time and hopes for a speedy recovery," the rep continued.

The tour is currently scheduled to resume on Feb. 12 in El Paso, Texas, and continue through March 14. With no new album on the horizon, Morrissey's next project is expected to be an autobiography, though a Dec. 2012 release date that the former Smiths frontman floated to Billboard in 2011 came and went without its publication.
