Beatles Boost Music Game Sales To New High

The world premiere of "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone," which stars Steve Carell and Steve Buscemi as superstar Las Vegas magicians, will be the opening night film at the SXSW Film Conference and Festival on March 8 in Austin, Texas.


Directed by Don Scardino, the cast includes Olivia Wilde, Alan Arkin, James Gandolfini and Jim Carrey. The film will be in theaters on March 15.


In addition, SXSW released the names of a few titles that will appear in the festival between March 8 and 16. Among the music-oriented films are "Downloaded," Alex Winters documentary on the rise and fall of Napster, and Ryan White's "Good Ol' Freda" about the Beatles' secretary Freda Kelly, whose story has never been told.


The rest of the lineup will be announced Jan. 31 except for the Midnighter features and shorts that will be announced on Feb. 6.


"Spring Breakers," which is expected to feature a score by Skrillex and Clint Martinez, will receive its U.S. premiere at the festival.
