Kelly Clarkson Also Announced, Will Perform 'My Country 'Tis of Thee'
Beyonce will perform the National Anthem at President Barack Obama's second inauguration later this month, a major honor for the singer who four years ago crooned Etta James' "At Last" at one of the Inaugural Balls.
Joining the "Single Ladies" star outside the Capital building on Monday, January 21 will be pop-rock queen Kelly Clarkson, who will perform "My Country 'Tis of Thee," and singer-songwriter James Taylor, who'll fill the National Mall with "America the Beautiful," the Presidential Inaugural Committee told People.
At the Neighborhood Inaugural Ball in 2009, Beyonce sang "At Last," which provided the soundtrack to Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama's first dance. She was an ardent supporter of Obama's reelection and in September hosted -- along with her husband Jay-Z -- a fundraiser in New York City that raised a reported $4 million.
