Krauss, Douglas To Cover 'Hundreds Of Miles' On Summer Tour

Bluegrass/country veteran Alison Krauss is taking to the road with Union Station and Jerry Douglas this summer in support of her upcoming compilation "A Hundred Miles or More." The trek begins June 14 in Jackson, Miss., and will continue through July 29, with performances scheduled in 45 cities.

Prior to her stint with Douglas, the Grammy award winner will be touring with guitarist Tony Rice. That stint begins April 21 in Chattanooga, Tenn., and continues through the end of May.

"A Hundred Miles or More" drops April 3 via Rounder Records and includes five brand new tracks, plus duets with artists like James Taylor and Brad Paisley.

An Evening with Alison Krauss and Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas also comes in support of a recent Douglas output, "The Best of the Sugar Hill Years" from the Americana Master Series, released last week (March 13).
