Aiden received nearly 420,000 online and text votes as part of Virgin Mobile's "Book the Band" contest, which aired on MTV2 between June 15 and July 20. The contest was a partnership between Virgin Mobile USA, MTV2 and Kyocera Wireless.
Weekly segments of the short-form program were featured on the MTV2's "T-Minus Rock" and "Subterranean" programs.
