Mariah Carey Says She Won't 'Acknowledge' the FaceApp Aging Feature

The latest viral trend around social media is FaceApp's "old" feature, in which users can upload a photo of themselves to see how they would look as elders. A number of celebrities have taken part, but Mariah Carey is not going to be one of them.

“FaceApp is not something I acknowledge,” she wrote on Twitter on Thursday (July 18). She included a GIF of herself that reads, “I don’t hear you, I don’t see you, you don’t exist to me.”

The diva isn't against every Internet challenge, though. She recently nailed the Bottlecap Challenge by singing the cap off the bottle instead of kicking it.

A number of fans responded to Carey's refusal to "acknowledge" the app, claiming that it makes sense, since she seemingly avoids aging altogether. See below.
