This year, Billboard Hot 100 songs slimmed down: The average length of tracks in the top 10 was 3:42, down seven seconds compared with the 2016 average. Meanwhile, Lil Pump’s “Gucci Gang” became the shortest Hot 100 top 10 in 42 years.
