Camila Cabello Says Her Debut Album Is Coming 'Super Soon': Billboard Women in Music 2017

At the 2017 Billboard's Women in Music event, Camila Cabello was honored with as this year's Breakthrough Artist. Before heading inside to be honored, the "Havana" singer stopped by on the red carpet to chat with Billboard's Chelsea Briggs and Keith Caufield.

"The amount of people that have connected with 'Havana' was super unprecedented to me," she says about her hit single. "It's so personal to me, to my family and my background." 

Cabello is no stranger to the Women in Music event, presenting Meghan Trainor with Chart Topper Breakout Honor last year. This is the her first solo outing at the event but still gushed about what it continues to stand for. "There's something so wonderful about feminine energy," she explains.

Earlier, Cabello announced that her first solo album is officially done and on the red carpet, she revealed that she has played it for a couple of friends already. "Every song represents me so much. I've reunited with my voice. It literally brought me back to myself."
